Apex Legends Stuck On Loading Fix

I've seen a bunch of people having this issue. Wanted to post the solution that worked for me in case it can relieve some other's frustration.

I fixed it!

Make sure the game is closed.

Step one: Completely close Steam. Either right click and exit, or kill the process.

Step two: Relaunch Steam.

Step three: Go to your Apex Legends installation folder and find the .exe. Right click the application .exe and set the compatibly to "Run as Administrator".

Launch the game from Origin. Fixed it for me and I didn't have to unlink my Steam.

Enjoy

  • for those that havent linked there steam account but are still getting this issue i got a fix from live chat

Your system keeps a record of IP addresses and domain names for the servers you access. Sometimes it helps to clear old data from this cache and start fresh. It's extra important to try this if you've had any problems with your hard drive or if you have had a virus or malware infection on your PC.

NOTE: Complete these steps using an admin account. You will be typing prompts into the CMD console, so it is very important that you enter the commands exactly as shown.

The following steps are specific to PC users. Apple has instructions on resetting your DNS cache for Mac.

    Windows 10

    1. Hold down the Windows Key and press X.
    2. Click Command Prompt (Admin).
    3. When the command prompt opens, type ipconfig/flushdns and press Enter.
    4. Type ipconfig /registerdns and press Enter.
    5. Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
    6. Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
    7. Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
    8. Reboot your computer.

If flushing your DNS does not clear up the problem, try resetting your hosts file. That can also help with some connection issues — especially if they came from malware infections.

it was either changing the host file or a combination of that and flushing the dns hope this helps people having this issue
