Apex Legends Unable to connect to EA servers

Hey all, another user was able to resolve their connection issues by following these steps.

I'm not able to connect to the game at all. It will only let me see the main menu screen but when I click to connect all it says is," Oops! Something went wrong, please try again later. (104)" It's been doing this for 3 days and I'm about to throw in the towel with it.

That's on my primary ps4. But yet my sister's who is in the same household can access it with no issues.
