Apex Legends White Screen at Launch

Whenever I try to launch Apex Legends through the Origin client, I can hear the login background music/sound effects, but I cannot see the screen. The screen is just a blank white screen.

1) Ensured that my firewall allowed Apex Legends application to run. Didn't work.

2) Ran the Apex Legend program as admin. Didn't work.

3) Tried switching between compatibility to windows 8. Didn't work.

4) Turned off Origin overlay in-game. Didn't work.

5) Tried repairing the game through Origin twice. Didn't work.

6) Updated my drivers.

i turned off some Overlays and it worked, MSI afterburner was the one that worked, try discord, steam, G-force experience.

it also works in steam settings then properties and then generals you will see launch options and also type "-fullscreen"

@mystNA i had the same problem but i could open it after like 15 to 20 try... i you can too , once you are in the game , put your settings in borderless window instead of fullscreen and i should work , it did for me

it seems Apex Legends has blacklisted some programs and presence of those programs we keep on getting the same error.
uninstall auto hotkey worked for me. if this doesn't work disable msi afterburner, ds4 windows as well as face it anticheat software

I got to know with the recent update, apex legends has blacklisted certain programs and if they are running you will not be able to launch and to fix apex white screen at launch disable these programs.
here is a complete list- ds4/5 windows
msi afterburner
Faceit anticheat
auto hotkey
Riot vanguard
if this doesn’t work update your graphics card drivers or play using the EA Play app.

I did this, but the end result was that it just swapped to black instead of white and was still windowed, any idea on why?

just go here https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html and download the latest AMD software and install it simply, restart your system and your game will start working. if it does not work then go to geforce software and disable overlay in settings, i think the problem is only with the AMD so it should work.

@neloampwave Same with me. No wonder this game is losing players left and right. These greedy money grubbers can't even fix the game.
