I have Discord overlay on and its hasn't caused the issue for Origin....I've had to disable Origin in-game overlay tho.


So from my testing, disabling ingame overlay for EA Desktop app does not fix it.

So, if you have already disabled the Origin overlay, of course it won't happen when Discord one is on. You could try turning off the Discord overlay and see if that "fixes" it. But yeah, if disabling EA Desktop overlay doesn't fix it, they need to carry over the fix from Origin to EA Desktop
