I uninstalled Sophos Home and my game launched instantly. I had tried everything in this thread except for reinstalling Windows.
Uninstalling Sophos Home worked for me, too. I don't know how I feel about removing it from my PC. Hopefully, there will be compatibility later.
I don't have Sophos Home :/
Side Note: With today's update I wasn't able to reach the splash screen

I wish I had sophos so I could use that solution.lol
This helped with mine.
If you have a windows computer, then go to the search bar on the bottom right, and type check for updates. If you have an update, click it, and you should be set.
- @OakenBole i don't have the r5apex.exe file but i have an r5apexdatabin
- @BennyBoiBigShaq If you don't have the .exe then you won;t be able to launch the game. I'd repair the game to get that back
