Apex Legends won't start after EasyAntiCheat loading (Windows 11)

Hello everyone!

So I installed Windows 11 (2 days ago) and I started having this problem with Apex : I launch Origin, then I launch the game, the "EasyAntiCheat" loading starts, finishes, but then nothing. The game won't launch. It appears in the Task manager for a few seconds and then it disappears and the "Play" button is available again. I tried everything to fix but it still won't work, here's what I tried : 

1) Reinstalling Origin 

2) Repairing the game 

3) Repairing through the "EasyAntiCheat.exe" app

4) Making the app an exception in "Firewall"

5) Updating every driver that could be updated (Including GPU) 

6) Switching it to Steam

7) Reinstalling it

And still nothing. I really need help, please can anyone tell me what to do ?

    EasyAntiCheat is currently not working in Windows 11.  Tried it with many different games.  Sadly only way to get them working is revert to windows 10, no game reinstall required, we just have to wait for the devs to get to the issue.

    It's working for me now. Maybe a fresh game install, or repairing through Steam/Origin? The EA Community Manager sent me some good instructions a little earlier in this post.

    Not sure why but it is working for me now too.  This is a fresh install/PC but I re-installed the game after I deleted it on Tuesday and now it works.  Thanks

    I still have this problem ı tried everthing. but ı stıll couldnt open the game. Even ı ınstalled win10 back but still didnt start the game

    @HanzHaci I have the same issue on windows 11. Tried reinstalling Apex, running as administrator, disabling firewall and repairing. But like everyone else say as well, easy anti cheat launches, but Apex doesn't launch.

    I installed from steam and it works fine right now. I guess origin has some issues because I tried what you requested and it didn't work on origin. Thx for helping btw

    I found a fix that worked for me:

    1) Go into game location folder

    2) setup easy anti cheat and select Repair Service for Apex Legends

    3) delete r5apex in the root location folder

    4) verify integrity / repair the game through either Steam or Origin, whichever you use

    5) game should work on windows 11 now

    At least this worked for me 🙂

    The problem is 2-fold from what I see, EA has not requested the correct version of Easy Anti-cheat to support Apex for the Windows 11 OS. Epic might or might not have it ready as I have put a ticket in with them and they have not answered it.

    Well, the recent post I made was not correct. 

    Here is the fix that worked for me:

    well F^% me.. i found the fix...
    when and if you update to windows 11

    opens settings, search for 'Controlled Folder access'

    and then add Apex and Easy Anti-cheat

    Too bad EA couldn't figure it out after multiple tickets and 2 months of wait time
