I found a fix, but I'm not sure if it's going to work for everyone. What I did is I uninstalled the game and installed it on my Xbox instead of my hard drive which the game was installed on originally If you wanna know how to do it, you basically unplug the hard drive from your Xbox, uninstall the game and install it again, It will install on the Xbox Instead of the hard drive because it's unplugged. the game didn't crash even once after I did that. I don't know if it only happens with people that use a hard drive for their game but If you use one, try doing that.
- @BladedBeard Saaaame it's been happening for 3 months or longer since like March and now (July 7th) the game is unplayable for me as it's crashing 1 to 3 times a game. Xbox One here.
mine just started last week and it crashes every game its never done this before ive done all the above to even cleaning my console and still it proves not to be useful
Why do you guys always think it's the player's network player system why can't you guys just say Hey there's an issue with the game maybe we should fix it? Half jokes aside It does randomly crashes at random times when trying to start a match and randomly in the game so please fine the issue be it server side or somewhere is the code from the update that this started in thanks 🙂 also here is my network statistics for you for my xbox wired lol
- @Aliwhite2002 Yeah im thinking of ps5 at this point. Ea servers for Xbox is garbage. I have half my memory available 1ms ping @140mbps. Same problem. Even clearing data before starting game.
- @Greytist86 Make that 2ice in a game repeatedly while ranked.....
Yup, same here. Game crashes as I'm loading in as flight master. Then it reloads me in just to crash again not only costing me all the rank points but then tacking on an abandonment penalty. This'll happen on and off while I play over the duration of 4-8 hours. I've had to build strategis around other peoples' disconnects to trying to find ways to carry their banners by killing them in lava.
This. ^
im on here searching for fixes and I’m seeing everyone above has done the same thing, uninstall/ reinstall, clear cache, and all this to no avail. Quite honestly I’m getting tired of seeing all these posts about “it can’t be a problem on our end.” If I’m not the one crashed, one of my teammates will be DC’d almost 8 out of every 10 games. It’s getting ridiculous. Let’s go guys, accept there is a problem.
- @CapRedBeard879 I finally fixed it after having it for like 2 months now, i had to contact ea help and have changed DNS, got an ethernet cable, done port forwarding, my UOTrace looks fine, nothing helped until i set up the DMZ connection to my PS4. you simply go to your web browser and type in your router’s ip address (should be written in the back of your router), it will ask you to type in the admin password (also written in the back of your router) then look for the DMZ option (it was in the firewall section for me, it might be located in a different place because our routers might be different so you have to look for it), enable the DMZ and type in your xbox/ps4/pc’s (the platform you use for playing) ip address. i hope this helps you out.
My Solution-
When I login to Xbox I close out the game and start fresh. Seems to work for me. My game was crashing at the beginning of each game after picking Legend.
I assume it's a bug in the quick resume feature of Xbox.
