Apex needs to install even though it is already installed on Steam

Hi guys,

I installed Apex Legends with Steam and it worked just fine yesterday. My PC could easily run it and I was having a great time. However, when I tried to run it today, it reset my PC. When my PC was ready to I tried to run it again but couldn't as Steam was now telling me I need to install it. I read somewhere that if I just start the install while it's already installed it'll just recognize that it's all there and stop installing so I can play. The thing is, my storage is full and so I can't even start the install. 

I checked the file locationa nd everything seems to be there but I simply don't know what to do. The game refuses to play even though it is clearly already installed on my PC. 

Can anyone help me?
