Apex Servers kept disconnecting occasionally

Hi. I would like to inform Respawn and EA that the servers I take part in while gaming keep disconnecting me from some games I play in after a few minutes, depending on time of day. However, I am able to re-enter the same game server I was once in, but our team would lose, or worse, be outside the shrinking ring. This happens on my xbox one systems, both wireless and wired connections.

Can Respawn look into it? Appreciate it.

As long as you remain on a wireless connection, this will continue to happen. I recommend using a wire. If that's not possible, it would be good to look into using a powerline adaptor. Those have been a very good solution when using a wired connection is not possible.

    Hi there, @DoctorOfGhetto

Thanks for reaching out about this. I'll try to help with your connection issues. The biggest piece of advice I can give is to stick to a wired connection. That should be a lot more stable than wireless. Also, it would be good to try the troubleshooting steps listed here

Speaking of being wired, make sure you're using at least a Cat 6 cable. You also may want to update your modem/router firmware if it's out of date.

Clearing the alternate MAC address may help. Here are those steps:

    1. Go to your Xbox Settings
    2. Go to "Network", then "Advanced Network Settings"
    3. Click on "Alternate MAC Address", and then click "Clear"

Let me know if these help or not.

  • Hi. Thanks for responding and sorry for responding late. As of over 6 months ago, my household upgraded to a 500 mb/s connection, and wireless has up to 100 mb/s and still have in-game crashes. So, it is not my connection or xbox live, it is the game. Thanks for escalating the problem

  • It does not matter if it is wired or wireless connection. The game itself still crashes while playing in a match of any kind. This has been a problem for at least a year now. Please forward this to the proper iT guys to fix the matter. Thanks.

  • I'm on a wired connection and have this same problem so wired vs wireless connection means nothing.

  • Exactly. It is an in-game server issue. I am not that computer illiterate. Come on. lol
