@UnstableRickWhere can I view this kind of log?

I observe what @GameArk  described, only I am on EA App, not Steam.

Splash screen for anticheat (with Conduit), progress bar completes, then it says "Waiting for the game..." [or something like that - another locale] in the corner for a few seconds and then disappears.  EA App pops back up.

During this process the r5apex.exe is appears in the Task Manager for a few seconds and disappears as well.

It started after the seasonal update May 7th, I think.  Before that game started successfully, including after a few minor updates.

  • On your C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\EasyAntiCheat in the anticheatlauncher.log, and still not fixed

    It works now!

    1) Same line is or, rather, was in my log. Same exit code, different game process handle, but that's probably different every time.

    2) A moderately sized update dropped.

    3) Following the advice in another thread, I checked my 'CNG Key Isolation' service. It was set to Manual and not running. I set it to Automatic and also started it manually myself. (It differs from the post in that thread - the other person there had it Disabled.)

    4) After that I tried to run the game and it loaded.
I don't know at this point if 2) or 3) helped or even both. Hope that helps.

Maybe I'll roll back 3) later and see if it makes a difference now.

    Edit:

So I stopped the 'CNG Key Isolation' service and put it back to Manual.  Then tried to start the game again. It failed with the same symptoms as before.  Looks like this part does make a difference.
