Apex won't work on Steam, but does on EA

Apex Legends launches and works through the EA app perfectly fine, but the Steam version gets stuck on an infinite loading screen before I can enter the game. I need the Steam version working tho. I have already verified files, reinstalled Easy Anti Cheat, cleared Steam cache/browser data, reset overlay settings, updated my windows and driver, I've uninstalled apex on EA and Steam and reinstalled it multiple times and tested without overlays. I've searched for answers online for so long, but it seems like there just isnt a fix. And yes my accounts are linked, i even tried to disconnect them and reconnect them but that didn't fix it
