Audio cuts out completely when firing

Whenever I’m in a fire fight, the audio completely cuts out rendering the game temporarily silent until no one is firing guns anymore. Playing on PS4 Pro. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game and have had no luck. No headset.

    Seems to be an issue with Sony output devices (Tv's, headphones etc). A lot of users have reported this on the PlayStation forum HERE and it's been narrowed down to Sony output devices having the issue. There seems to be a temporary fix in there though. Change the Audio Output settings on your console to  Bitstream (Dolby) seems to be a temporary fix until it gets sorted by support staff.

    I have the same exact issue.  Posted this about 5x in various places.  Everything sounds fine,  I pull a trigger and all sound cuts out. Goes back to normal after releasing the fire button.

    PS4 Pro -  5.1 surround sound - HDMI in -  Optical out to receiver. Been using this set up for years.

    Uninstalled and re-installed 3x

    Hope this gets addressed!

    Definitely not just you buddy, same issue here but it’s fine with head phones. 

    Probably best if we can use one thread to get the issue pushed up higher, you got the links to the other threads?

    This is happening to me on my ps4 Pro too.  Using a Sony 850c tv with HDMI for audio
