As @XHelperZ mentioned the 30-day period you're seeing is the longest you should have to wait before receiving a reply, and not the current wait time to hear back from the Terms of Service team. Currently that should be substantially faster so please do keep an eye on your email for a response.
With that said, as you mentioned receiving the ban after retaliating in chat, please keep in mind that we do not condone inappropriate chat at all, regardless of who "started it" first.
If someone's making inappropriate statements or remarks, please be sure to report them with the available tools so our team can investigate and take the appropriate actions, rather than responding with remarks that may lead to an action being taken on your account as well.
