Hello! Im loving this game, i just have one huge problem, i have a monitor which native res is 1280x1024, and i have black bars on top and bottom, it annoys me so much, i tried to search how to fix it, but i didn't find any solution, but i saw, im not the only one with this problem, if you could do something about it it would be awesome!

man im having the same issue, i just downloaded the game.. and i play all my fps games in 4:3
im totally fine with the black bars left and right. but the black bard on top and bottom is a no go..
i cant play like this haha

Close Apex and try this:
(you may have to look for the relevent settings through GPU's other than Nvidia)
Open Nvidia control panel and go to the "adjust deaktop size and positioning"
Then make the setting like so:
Clicking full screen and override scaling.
Run the game see if that fixes it.
The problem with your guide is that it is about playing the game in 720p whilst we want to play at 1024p
Then change the numbers so it suits your resolution then :P
when we set the resolution scale to 16:10 we cant change the resolution from 1280*720,its locked
Do you know how to fix this problem because this hurts
