Exact same problem here too! It’s been almost a week and ever since downloading the game on a new Series S I’ve had all tabs greyed out on Home Screen along with -9999 materials/coins. (Last played around 9 months ago on different console)
I did see one Reddit post from about a year ago that had some success on restarting his PS5 while loading into the Apex Home Screen and said it fixed the problem. It was a pretty generic post and he wasn’t very specific but this is the only thing I’ve come across so far as to a permanent or temp fix on our end.
Im not thrilled that this problem has been on going for over a year now and there doesn’t seem to be a fix from EAs side at all.Update.
got off of EA help chat about 5 minutes ago. They had me do about 60 minutes worth of different troubleshooting with no luck. After consulting with their team a few different times they escalated the issue as a bug. They gave no timeframe as to when it would be solved or even addressed but did say that between all the info I gave them plus screenshots they should be able to figure out a fix….
not sure I’m going to hold my breath but they did seem genuinely interested in getting the issue solved.
Alright, thanks for sharing the concern and waiting, really appreciate your patience. So, we went through the details of the issue and investigated more on this issue and got the information from my team is that happy to tell you that you’ve nothing to worry about, looks like a few other players have reported this issue as well, however the good news here is that the studio is already aware about it and is already working on a fix, it’s getting rectified as we speak, thanks for your patience on this one and again do not worry we got your back on this one.

Good thing is that this has been brought into the notice of the concerned team and they are diligently working to fix it as soon as possible.
You just need to wait for some time, this is a known issue to us and our concerned team is working hard to fix the issue. ... gota love EA

Same here. At least some people got a generic "we'll look into it." Although it's been weeks of this crap. I can't understand why this isn't being more publicly addressed and honestly those of us suffering through this for weeks deserve some kind of compensation - it's not right that a game that's been out this long can't get it together. There's people who had this issue on Reddit and the posts are from 2021... like seriously?
