So im trying to add my PS4 friend, im on PC and its showing not found. yes we have cross play turned on. yes i spelled the name right. What Gives????

If you are having an issue finding a friend who is on another platform to play cross-play with, check out the following information and let us know if you continue having issues after.

If you are unable to find a friend you may need to update your privacy settings for either your EA Account or your Platform account. If you continue having issues, there may be an age restriction or parental control interfering as well.

Thanks for your response. Both of us have these setting enabled on our consoles, and all boxes checked in our EA settings. We aren't even able to find each other through EA desktop either.
Hi there! Just wanted to add my experience as well. I've been trying to find people through the in-game search function, but can't find anyone. I've checked my EA account privacy settings and all are checked. My PSN account privacy settings haven't been changed at all since the beginning and I just verified the settings. Would it be a server-side thing that happened because of the DDoS changes?
This did not work, and has not worked since crossplay was enabled. I have had this issue every single time I have tried to add a friend and so have each of my friends. We have tried all the steps in your response - enabling all settings in our EA accounts and on our platforms. Is this something EA is actively working on and is aware of?
