Can't link xbox account

I have tried to link my xbox account to EA and it says that i have already linked this xbox account to an EA account even though, i have never linked that xbox account to an EA account ever.

Hi @destroyer7973, 

An EA account is needed to play any EA games online. Can you remember playing any EA games online before with that Xbox account? It would have been connected an EA account to it back then if so.

Does the email that pops up in that message look familiar to you?

    i just saw the email that comes up and its the exact same email that i am using for my current ea account.

      Ok, that sounds like a good thing so. Your Xbox account is already linked up to your current EA account. Was that what you were hoping for?

        It says that my xbox account is linked to my ea account but on the ea website it says it isn't and i don't get any of the cross-progression on games either.
