That's an odd one @SCC_Dramallama.
Can I ask on what platform are you playing and what you are using to control your character in-game?
If on PC can you ensure that the only controller input you have connected is the one that you are using in game.

Yes I can comfirm that I do not have a controller plugged in. I have tried redownloading the game and also confirming my game files. It has been like this for about a month now.

Are you able to navigate in the menu without issues @SCC_Dramallama?
I would suggest going into your game settings and checking your mouse and keyboard set up in Apex Legends as based on the screenshot it appears that the actions are not mapped to your keyboard.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I DONT KNOW HOW MY BUTTONS GOT UNMAPPED BUT THIS SOLVED THE PROBLEM
