Client Failed an anti-cheat runtime integrity Check: Connection timed out

This is the third time this has happened and lost my team a game.

The first time was funny. We all joked "maybe you should stop cheating" knowing full well that I don't play well enough to even be mistaken as a cheater.

The second time was annoying. Lost a game in the last fight because I just poofed. Disappeared as if I was never in the game. No banner to be retrieved or anything. No option to rejoin the game.
I went through every troubleshooting step I could find. Even going so far as to uninstall and delete everything on my computer having to do with Apex and re-installing. Thought it was fine after a few days of no issue.

The third time just happened 20 minutes before writing this. I'm at a loss as to why it is happening. Never happened before a week ago. No changes have been made to my system.

This entire split has been a load of hot garbage whenever I try to play. On top of this integrity check, I've also been having an issue where I crash out during character select with no logs or anything to speak of. <<--- there are posts about this happening as far back as 2019!!! Again. Never had this issue until the second split of season 13.

What can I do about this? How many other people are experiencing this? Will Apex ever truly be fixed?

I have had the same problem since patch 13.1. I have already tried several things and nothing, I have contacted EA and neither and it is only with Apex because other games with Easy Anti-cheat Does not occur. It is a pity that EA does not investigate this problem because I know that there have already been bans and it is said that the error occurs when there are micro crashes on the server

@grillo2403 Hey! turns out we're not the only ones, either and people are ending up BANNED because of this! Just read the first post that comes up in the vid and that's almost exactly what's happening to me, but during matches.

Hey I think I found a solution or may be not just sharing with you guys, I was having this problem then did some stupid stuffs then got to play without getting disconnected, went to the 4th ring, then died...
what i did was
#1---went to my steam's apex directory then went to the 'EasyAntiCheat' folder then 'EasyAntiCheat_Setup' repaired it once then uninstalled it from that setup window,
#2---went back to apex directory and deleted these 5 files/folders(screenshot attached)
#3---went to steam's library from there verified integrity of the game files
i dont know how it worked or if it even worked i just played one match without problem, dont feel like playing another match camping and ratting but am in debt to this community

I'm going to try your solution (although I have Apex in Origin) but it should be the same procedure and if it goes well I'll tell you because you know that apart from that problem with the anticheat the game sometimes crashes at the start of a match so maybe one or all bugs are solved so it remains to wait

@Ac1D_Yahya After making your solution after 2 hours of playing, it presented the error again, the problem has been purely from the game and it is sad that EA will not have the solution, that is why I have stopped playing ranks since you lose points and have many penalties

i have been having this error for quite some time now, and its the main reason i dont play ranked this season. Since season 13's launch, i've been crashing to 3 different game errors. Device HUNG, crashing straight to windows and this one by far the worst since i cant reconnect back to the game. Pls fix the game EA. (none of those 3 has any solution).

I have "The client failed an anti-cheat runtime integrity check: Connection timed out" error EVERY GAMES since 2 hours, I cant even play a full match. I just lost RPs because of it. I may uninstall Apex, I'm done with all this crashes and bugs.

Hello. I have been having issues with Apex kicking me out of ranked games. Everything will be going fine, and then for some reason the game freezes, and it sends me back to the main screen. An error comes up and says something along the lines of "Failed ____ anti-cheat exception_____" I don't remember what it says. The more annoying thing is this kicks me out of the game I am in, and then gives me a leaver penalty and then I don't get any LP for the kills/placement/etc. Is there some system that checks and just kicks people out of the games they are in, because this is ridiculous?
