"An attempt was made to execute and illegal instruction"
Where are instructions run on?
The gpu? or the cpu?
Which one has priority?
Why did you ask this question?
Can you play the game {yes} or {no}
It's a simple error regarding CPU instruction that cannot be compiled at loading time = buggy software or unsupported CPU's = usually means sloppy programming .

have tried it all too m8 and I feel your frustration. I'd love to finish a game or two, or not drop out of one right before a win. That happened to me yesterday. We had the win easy and out of nowhere the game dumped. Also the ridiculous amount of lag if there is even one other person around while landing. Get my arse kicked every time. And I know I wouldn't if I had a good connection, because when the game runs smoothly I kick *. And I think a lot of other people would too. If you think about it this way, if they WEREN't having these problems, people would be leveling too fast and they would have to create new content faster. They need to up-size so bad.

I keep coming back here to see if they have fixed the issues and they seem to be more interested in putting new guns into the game then they do fixing it.
It's been a month, tried all the COMMUNITY fixes, still massive frame rate drop then kicked from the game.
It can't be the RTX 2080ti's fault as every other game has no problem with it.
Done waiting. Uninstalled.
(EDIT) : Tried one more thing that appears to have worked. Disabled all other audio outputs and inputs other than the ones I'm using.
No crashes so far. Played for 2 hours :eahigh_file:

The following fix worked for me today:
Step 1 - Open up the Origin Games folder. Go to Apex/_Installer/CustomComponent/EastAntiCheat
Step 2 - Run the EasyAntiCheat_Setup exe
Step 3 - Select "Respawn Demo" and click on repair service.
I have been getting the crash to desktop without an error message every 2 to 4 games recently. After trying the above fix earlier today, I no longer crashed to the desktop without an error. I'm not sure if I was just lucky tonight or if this fix truly solved my crashing problems. I should note that I did crash twice tonight; however, those were the crashes related to the newer Nvidia drivers.
I'll update this post if the crashing resumes. Anyone else with major crashing issues try this yet?

I've tried *literally* everything else in the list. I'll give this a shot and update if I still get crashes.
Edit: 35 minutes later, on the 4th game I CTD'd, no frame drop, no error. Looks like the fix is no good for me.

No crashes so far today either after trying this fix: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Community-Crashing-Troubleshooting-Guide/m-p/7593348/highlight/true#M27091
Hopefully it's not a fluke!

@QueuekumbR Tried it, no difference. Still crashes every 3 or 4 games, usually while dropping in.

Hey boyz,
I'm here to announce that I have play my first night without crash \o/ (4h+ played)
In addition with every action in the post, the last thing i did was :
- Repair the Respawn Demo that Kevin9809 talk about
- I had to reboot my computer, dunno why but the game wouldn't launch after with an error "CreateFile 32". The reboot fixed it ^^- I change the fps_max to 60 ( T_T )
- I used Discord in my web browser (chrome) instead of the application
The game run with every display settings at low, and borderless.
So now i can say that the game without a single crash is pretty fun :D
Finger crossed that it'll fix it for good
My spec :
i5-6600RX 480
W10
