Here's my specs
Radeon R9 390
i5 4690k
Windows 10 home
16 GB ddr3 dual channel
I get seemingly random crash to desktops with no error. Sometimes I play for 2 hours without a crash, and sometimes I crash 3 times in a row.
So far I have tried:
-Newest beta radeon drivers
-Newest stable radeon drivers
-2nd newest stable radeon drivers
-Repair game files
-Uninstall/Reinstall Apex and Origin
-Firewall rules for Apex and Origin
-Disable Origin overlay and Origin in game
-Countless combinations of high/low graphics settings, full screen, windowed, vsync, etc.
-Disabled all non-essential background processes
-Double checked radeon wasn't overriding any in-game settings (it wasn't)
-Ran the update/repair thing in Easy Anti-Cheat for Respawn
What I'm going to try next is installing the game on my other hard drive but it probably won't do anything, I think my game might have been installed on the other hdd when I reinstalled it last time.

As someone already said it somewhere, i think this is all just luck based to be honest. Sometimes i get to play 10-20 full games (by full i don't mean dying in few minutes, but like proper games some were even wins or 2nd 3rd place) and yet sometimes i crash with no error in first 10 seconds of the game and sometimes it crashes several games in a row. It really is getting more and more annoying and frustrating -.-. I had high hopes that the patch would change it, but still the same ... I tried every possible "fix" and "solution" there is on any of posts here, and none of them are working. I hope they fix this soon, because i really want to play the game, its fun addictive and awesome but each random crash to desktop with no error is killing my hopes slowly. I've got Dual X R9 270 2GB, Win 10, FX-6300 Black Edition. Also tried all the "fixes" as radeon chill, caping fps, disabled 2 cores and yet none of those worked ☹️. I hope you guys fix this really soon.

FIX for those that have the game freeze for a second then crash to desktop (CTD) with no error. Originally posted by SHNI3F:
Go to game properties by right clicking the Apex game in your origin library > advanced launch options, and just add: +fps_max 60
I have it at 72 and I haven't crashed for over fifty games. Not sure if you can replace it with 144 for those with high refresh rate monitors. Hope this helps, let me know if it worked for you!
My system in case you were curious:
i5-4690k
8gb DDR3
RX 580 8GB
