Connection Issues with the Servers

Last night and this afternoon, I was trying to play mixtape. The performance overlay said my ping was around 20-60ms. Yet, when I hit tab, it says my ping was 63, sometimes higher in the 90's, today it said 237. However when logging in, everytime the ping says its around 30 on that tab menu on the title screen, lobby, and in the firing range.

In other words, the game says my connection is fine, and then the moment I get into a match, it goes "SIKE!" I was lagging all over the place. I would play as Valkyrie, try to use my jetpack, get visually teleported into the air, snapped right back down to the ground, and usually killed. The kill cam would show that I was running in place, but the person shooting at me was also having delayed aiming, frame stuttering, and were dealing damage before the bullets hit me, indicating some form of lag.

Last I've heard, the servers run at 20hz. Are they still this bad, or are there just a bunch of DDOSers joining matches since cheaters are just running more and more rampant? Is it actually my connection? (Doesn't quite seem like it) I'm not sure what's going on anymore.

Last night, I left the game and stopped playing because it was just unplayable and went onto Fortnite, which by the way, had zero issues besides long loading times into lobbies, (which is apparently related to a bug with my graphic's current driver).

Today, I got a "problem processing game logic", followed by "code:cloud" and an "abandonment penalty" from the server. Here's a video of what happened before the game penalty: https://youtu.be/DV9OiPmPdEg For those wondering what the performance overlay was saying during this part of the match, here:

Here's the error that it showed:

Here's another instance earlier in the match: https://youtu.be/LQwPjBLOV4w Again, the preformance overlay for this match is shown below. This one spikes more in the ping:

I will also note that the servers were bad for me before, but it wasn't this bad recently until after they fixed the account reset problem.

Edited: Okay weird, the next match I played after posting the thread, I had no issues with the connection, in fact I didn't even see anyone in the match cheating. No one was snapping onto me, no one was acting like they can see through walls. Are servers just really laggy when someone uses cheats at all on them, or like what? Would love to hear more about this from someone who knows a lot about connections, servers, etc.

  • Trying to play ranked, and its lagging just as bad. I checked my connection multiple times again, and its not on my end. It seems to be from DDOSers, because when I get near players using cheats, such as aimbot, I start to lag. Unsure if its cheaters or the servers though.

I have been playing ranked for 4 hours and within that time frame, I've been kicked out 3 times costing me RP and not just that... I get a penalty 🙂 this has been persistent for about 2 weeks now.

Something is definitely wrong with the servers, as one of my randoms wasn't moving, and they're a console player. When I walked over to them, they were stuck in a skydive animation, and ended up getting auto kicked from the game. It appears to be the game's fault, not theirs.

Two different views of them stuck in the air:

Not shown, but the game recognized them as being there, as arc stars would hit them and then fly off far away, (since you can't stick teammates anymore, not since S3 or so), and the heat shield was showing that if I threw it, it would hit them.

The console player appeared like this in tab, which it should of shown the red disconnect icon next to their name, but it didn't:

Here's what it looks like after Lifeline got fully removed from tthe match:

Further proof showing they got removed from the game:
