It's happened a few times now, where I'm in game and get kicked back to the main menu server selection with a code: wheel then when I try to reconnect it gets stuck on initializing... and crashes with a code: leaf. Normally I've been able to reconnect to the game after that, but this time I wasn't even able to get back into the game with my duo partner.
It doesn't happen super often, once or twice every 70 - 100 games maybe, but man is it annoying!
I have this in every game, i deleted the game from origin and installed from steam but i have same situation!!

It is most definitely not my internet settings as i am having no problems with any other game apart from Apex.
I get kicked every 5 minutes of a game and instead of a normal kick where you can reconnect to the same game it just takes me back to the main play screen to find another match.
I can see alot of other players on this forum getting the same issue very recently
I'm also having the same issue firstly when i launch the game it takes forever to connect then once i'm in the lobby i ready up and connect to a match then the character selection screen pops up at this point its either i'm able to select a character then i get the (code: wheel) error or i'm not even able to select and it kicks me out.
Furthermore when i try to connect again the error changes to (code: leaf); please fix i really want to play but this is really killing my vibe.
similar problem except code net then leaf every SINGLE match. like im not even exaggerating, i literally am unable to play the game. and ive tried every trouble shoot and its not done anything at all
ive been having the same problem as well, is there a fix?
- @ULTIMATE_TACO21 I tried a lot of solutions such as trying to disable some CPU cores, opening the game through administrator, and many more. However, the only fix that worked was turning off "Hardware acceleration" on Discord.

"Turning off Discord Hardware Acceleration.
Open discord settings and appearance and scroll down to Advanced.
Check if Hardware Acceleration turned off, if not move the slider to the left"

I have also started to get this error today, it was fine yesterday. When in game, it gets disconnected with code wheel and after continue it shows code net.
- @WALS_ArthurW i didnt get code wheel but i get code net and code leaf every single match. i literally cannot join a game because code net sends me out and leaf doesnt allow me back in that game and this is a continuous loop for me. just have to hope, not much WE can do and not much EA is WILLING to do
Dunno what’s going on but I get code netted everytime I encounter enemy squads. To make it worse I get the leaf so I can’t even reconnect.

this has been going on for 2 days. Before this event my game was running fine. Now it’s nigh unplayable. I’ve been kicked from ranked games near the end sometimes and I don’t get a leave penalty at all.
This only happens to me in ranked. Trios is fine. What gives? Thanks.
For the past few days when I play apex I can be at any point in a game and I will freeze and then it sends me back to the apex home screen with either error code wheel or code leaf. I searched up what they are and it said I can't do much about it.
