Are you currently running any sort of third party software for your DualShock 4? If so, can you try disabling that and repairing Apex Legends in Origin? Start the game back up and leave the third party software disabled Apex Legends should automatically work with your DualShock 4.
Let me know if you're still running into the same issues with your sensitivity afterward.

- 6 years ago@EA_Kent i even reinstalled my whole computer and same problem, only sofware on my computer is origin apex and discord. never had any third party software for mye ps4 controller. same problem when i uncap FPS. capped my screen to 144 so the game do the same somehow??? but it works then... still sad to not have 240 when i can

Hmm, gotcha. Do you happen to have any other controllers that you could try using to test and see if the same thing still happens? I'm curious to see if you would still run into that same issue with any other controller as well.
