Had pretty much a 100% crash rate after the patch, R5Apex EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION according to the new crash log
Found a solution that worked for me, your miles my vary (also my OS is not in English, translation might be a bit off):
- Go to the games folder (Usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Apex)
- Right click r5apex.exe and go to Properties
- Un-tick the "Write protection" and click Okay (might be called Read-Only actually, trying to translate from a non-English OS)
- It will ask you if it should apply the settings to this folder and sub-folder, click okay
- Launch Apex again
The write protection was enabled the next time I checked, but it seems whatever it was trying to write got written and everything seem okay again.
I used to have a lot of crashes before the patch I managed to fix, like forcing the anti-cheat to restart when it crashes, running as admin, so you might need to do those things as well.
Hope this helps someone at least
