Cross Progression Merged my Brothers accounts

I didnt realize both my brother and my xbox account were under the same EA account and now they merged our accounts without our consent; I lost all my stats and everything, is there any way to recover my stats and move my xbox account to a separate EA account; I would hate to have to start over as we both spent a lot of money on Apex.

    Sorry to hear about what you are running into, and apologize for being the bearer of bad news. 

    To confirm as @Asmodeus566 mentioned we don't support multiple players using one account, for more information on Linking accounts and our Terms of Service check out the links below:

    If you both had your Xbox accounts linked to a single EA account, the only solution to this would be moving one of those Xbox accounts to its own EA account, as that should only be accessed by the registered account owner. Unfortunately, this won't be possible to keep progress as that's tied to the EA account, so whoever moves off will be starting fresh.

    To confirm this is information shared by the team (Respawn), and there would not be a separate support site to visit that would offer additional information.

    Oh no that is not so good.

    There is nothing that can be done. The two of you were sharing 1 EA account and cross progression happened.

    This is one of the reasons why sharing EA accounts is against the ToS even if used on different platforms.

    Sad to say one of you will have to continue with the old account and the other will have to make a new account.

    So one of us just loses all the time and money we put into the account that seems a bit ridiculous, never have one of us ever been told it was against Terms of Service and have had no problems since; we didnt even sign up for cross progression.

    I mean we never so much even received a warning or anything prior to all of this we are both over rank 500 and have each put a lot of money and time into this.

    What I wouldnt give for Respawn to have it’s own support department, I just keep getting told “welp sorry looks like you need to start over after spending hundreds of hours and dollars on your xbox account” which is absolutely unacceptable as an answer.

  • Never once have we been notified that our xbox accounts were on the same EA account, no warning before cross progression launched either. We have been playing since Apex launched in 2019 and never once were we warned or even notified about this rule; we have been playing together for almost 5 years and have never had a problem until this. What about all the money and time we put into our individual accounts is that all just gone, we were given no option or anything and now we are just losing everything is there seriously nothing that can be done because that is a lot of money to just throw away I mean Im talking almost every battle-pass and god knows how many cosmetics; there has to be something that can be done please.

  • The same thing happened to me and also spent tons of time and money I have been trying to get my account back for more then a year it feels like I will never see it again it gave my reasons to hate EA or apex I use to think of it as a great fun game I could play with my brother now I just hate it for all of money and time it took from me and gave to my brother if EA cant fix this then I want a full refund because of all of this mess.
