Cross Progression not working?

Got the cross progression prompt on steam, but no progress from my PlayStation account has been transferred. Characters etc that I know I have unlocked are not. Has my merge bugged?

    Hi @TheZauberbiest 

    To check is your Xbox and PC account connected to the same EA account?

    If so, did you unlink either from a previous EA account?

    My Xbox and PC accounts were not connected to the same EA account, so I unlinked my Xbox account from my Xbox EA account and linked it to my PC EA account before cross progression, and my cross progression did not work. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

  • im wondering the same * thing why would you link cross progression to the ea accounts most people dont use the same ea account across dif platforms they should of done it thorught the plat for acc like the xbox or platstation acc so we didnty have to stuggle to find this out its dumb big suprise ea not doing it right like come on ubi did better then yall

  • @EA_Illium Yes that is possible, I consolidated all my ea accounts a while ago into my PC account as I for some reason had a separate account for each platform.

    Is there any way to get that progress back? I already have progress and purchases on Steam and my PlayStation progress is probably the most important one next after that.

    Hey @TheZauberbiest @qu1sha @0grimgrizzie0 

    To confirm, Items and Progress are stored at the EA account level and not the Platform account (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, etc). 

    When you unlink a Platform account from its originally connected EA account, you will not carry over items and progress to another EA account. Check out our help articles for more information on linking and unlinking:

    If you wish to attempt to recover your items you will need to relink the Platform account back to its original EA account. Please keep in mind this does mean you will not be able to use the Platform accounts with cross-progression as they will be on separate EA accounts.
