Cross Progression on Steam

I use steam to play my apex account that i originally started on my nintendo switch and i wanna ask if i went to my ea account settings and changed the steam alt accouunt i use to play to my main steam account if the games account would also transfer or not since i dont wanna use my alt account to play anymore
