i played on my main apex account since id say mid season 8. come to the season mad maggie came out (i forgot what season it was) i started playing on my microsoft account (i played it before like one or 2 games before season 1) bought 2 heirlooms and overall spent lots of money and time on that account and was on and off playing on my main account. now come october 2023. ea had been slowly letting out cross progression. now december 2023 when everyone can do it. i contacted ea support to figure out why nothing has happened. goes as follows. me "i would like to know why my stuff hasnt been merged/transfered since cross progresion came out" ea support "sorry but this is 2 different accounts. would you like to unlink microsoft account from this account (alt) and link to current ea account to transfer everything" me "yes please". then we go through everything and everythinkg is all et good to go. then now i would like to play on my alt for a bit and use some cosmetics that i have on that account. so i contact ea support. the person i was taliking with was very very helpful. then he told me that it wasnt possible unless someone higher up were to do something. what happened was that since all progress on alt account was dont on xbox that stuff was deleted apon linking. now i wasnt told that would happen back in december of 2023 when i did unlink it. so know 1,500ish CAD (about 2,200 USD) was now gone. if anyone anywhere could help me get a reselution to this it would mean alot to me as it sucks loosing over a grand of items wihtout warning or anything. than you in advance. if anyone else had something like this happen pleas

Sorry to hear you've been having some trouble with Cross Progression for a while now.
Just to clarify, progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This means if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress.
There is not a way to transfer your content from one EA account to another, so if you had linked that Xbox to a different EA account to try and facilitate that, I'm afraid that would be the reason for missing progress. Please see this page for more information on the effects of unlinking an account.
From this point, while we can't guarantee it will restore progress, the only way to attempt restoration would be to re-link the original EA account. We have some additional information about this particular situation in our blog and guides below, but if you have any issues re-linking your accounts please reach back out to support so they can help get your platform account back to its original EA account.
