Crossplatform friends not showing up online

This happened whenever we would try to play Apex and now it's happening in Battlefield 2042. To be honest, crossplay is the main reason I would want to buy the game since my brother and cousin both play on PC while I play on Xbox Series S. We are friends on Origin and on Xbox. When I log into Origin on my PC, I can see that they are online. However none of us can search for each other (they can see each other but not me and I can't see either of them from Xbox) in Battlefield 2042 using EA ID's.

My EA ID: jimbojangles27

My Xbox gamertag: Jimbojangles27

My brother's EA ID: Wilbot2000

My cousin's EA ID: Conseqns_Of_Sin

I legimately have an identical issue to you.

The comments here asking you to check the legacy devices, new devices are distracting from the issue. I'm running PC to Xbox Series X (my friend) and we cannot see each other. We're linked on EA play and Origin (both BF2042 and Apex issue). If I go back to my Series X - we can see each other. Same accounts, all linked, different platforms.

I cannot find a forum that knows how to fix this problem and it's been a substantial period since your post.
