Crossplay enabled on xbox but won't let me enable on apex legends

I have my crossplay activated on my xbox but in my apex legends settings it is grayed out and will not allow me to enable crossplay. I was even kicked from my club just now can someone at ea or respa...

Hey @Danonyte @AuroraTitan Could you try to power cycle the console and see if that helps.

How to power cycle:

Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
Important Make sure that you wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
Plug the console power cable back in.
Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

It ls not working for me either, my friend is on an xbox one X and his crossplay setting is greyed out. Im on ps4 and my crossplay setting is on.

It doesn't work for me either I already struggled to get my account back from getting apex again and now I can't add my friends on different platforms my x box setting for cross play is on and my server is fine but all the answers and ways to solve it are just change the x box setting and change server

  @AKHILL2008 Hey, I just started running into this issue after being able to play on cross-platform for over a year. I've done all the steps you have and un-installed it as well. Any luck with alternative fixes?
