CTD after S12 update. Mem violation?
Hi I'm new 🙂 Since the Season 12 update, Apex Legends crashes to desktop (CTD) with no error codes. I'm just playing ranked as Revenant and it crashes suddenly. Happens approximately every 2 hours...

Community ManagerI'm fairly sure your GPU is factory overlocked and your RAM is highly clocked too.
Reducing these overclocks slightly may give you more game stability, thanks.

I have standard tuning (no underclock or overclock) on my GPU, and I've had the ram set to 3600mhz (FLCK at 1800) since I built this computer without issues so far, only since the latest Apex update.
Funnily enough, I just checked the crash folder since my last crash, and I don't think the update likes me playing on any time ending in 4 minutes. Either that or it's a sheer odd coincidence haha

This has only happened since this season and should be looked into as more and more people have been reporting this issue. I keep all settings at either Auto or the defaults so there should be no issue of overclocking RAM/GPU.
There is a decent size reddit thread about this issue sinces season 12. There are people experiencing it with a variety of hardware configuration. I encouraged that group to come here and post to raise awareness.

No, this issue has never happened to me before and I’ve been playing with the same specs season after season. No overclocking, this is obviously a game issue, not a hardware issue.
Any word on when yal are gonna fix this? It's starting to happen pretty regular after the top 5 teams. Losing a LOT of rp. It's hard enough grinding pugs without EA working against you to..
