Do Not Unlink Your EA Account

IMPORTANT: Do NOT unlink your accounts! @GameAnnouncements


Do NOT unlink your account from your original EA account - this will remove all progress.

Have two different EA accounts? Do not try to unlink/relink a different Xbox/PSN account - this will remove all progress.

Xbox made you use an outlook account to sign up and you have a different EA account now? Do not unlink, your progress is on your old EA account with the outlook e-mail. You will lose all progress if you unlink.

Using the same EA account on all platforms: This allows cross-progress between platforms. Wait for the in-game prompt coming in the next days.

    what about your account now? I become lv1 on my ps5

  • They just forced me to unlink!!! I didn't even unlink it!! They forced my Xbox account to unlink from the old one!!! I know this because my xbox account, when trying to use it to log into the old unrecoverable account, it didn't say it was connected anymore! And I was able to connect my xbox to this one!! Help!!!

    To this day im still waiting for them to give me back my shi.  Ive been waiting for for years actually and not one advisor came up with a solution. So mind you i've been playing since season 0. You dont know how frustrating that is because i've been grinding this game. Now i feel like I did all of this for nothing. I've spent so much money on this game, even though I still didnt get any heirlooms. I've been waiting for this since cross progression was even introduced and i STILL dont have a response from an advisor. So i might just call it quits.

    Hey LWKEYLA​,

    Just to provide some context, if you have been playing since Season 0 there was definitely a different EA account involved. Progress is stored at the EA account level, so if you link your platform (Xbox, PlayStation, etc.) to a different account, it does not copy your progress to a new account - you'll just have access to whatever's on that new EA account.

    I see you mentioned having this problem since around Season 11. It looks like that's also about the time your platforms were linked to this EA account, as this one didn't even exist back in Season 0. That would completely explain why your progress is missing - it's not on this EA account, it's on the original account wherever that progress was first made.

    There's nothing for us to give back because that content was never on this EA account. You'd need to try linking your platforms back to whichever EA account was used when you first played. If that's an email or account you can no longer access, our support should be able to help get back into the EA account - they just aren't able to transfer content or progress between separate accounts.
