Ea Ban History and contacting support

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with EA Support and the way my case has been handled.

My account was stolen on October 25, and since then, no one has properly investigated my case. I have received no notifications or emails from either Steam or EA indicating that someone accessed my account or logged in from an unauthorized device or location.

This clearly raises serious concerns about EA's account security and customer protection. Accounts can apparently be stolen so easily, and hackers can use cheats on them, just as happened to me, while the actual account owner is left to deal with the consequences.

Honestly, EA has one of the worst customer support services and account security systems I have ever experienced. It feels like EA only cares about content creators and high-profile players, while ordinary players who invest their time and effort into the game are completely ignored.

I have been waiting for a proper investigation, not generic responses or automated messages. I expect EA to take responsibility, investigate the unauthorized access, check the login history and locations, and provide me with a real explanation and solution.

I deserve the same level of protection and attention as any other player.

  • Hey kira6653,

It looks like you've spoken with an advisor via live chat recently, so I'm afraid we don't have any different answers than the information they've already provided. Your appeal can be tracked through your case history page, and the Terms of Service team will reach back out there once their investigation is complete.

If you're running into any issues with an account or support issue beyond that, you'll need to continue working with the support team. We cannot review or escalate any cases via the forums, thanks.

Thank you for clarifying. However, I have already explained that reaching a real advisor is extremely difficult, and my previous experience was disappointing. I will try contacting support again, but I hope EA understands that repeatedly asking customers to start over and explain the same issue is not an acceptable support experience. My appeal has already been pending for seven days. I simply want my case escalated to the appropriate team and a proper investigation into the unauthorized access to my account. I hope this time someone actually takes responsibility for helping me.

Is there really no way to report or escalate the poor support experience itself?

Yes, you need to speak with another advisor and ask to have your case escalated if they're unable to assist.

I understand that the forums cannot directly investigate my case, and I've never asked you to personally handle the investigation. However, as a Community Manager, I expected more than repeatedly telling me to contact a support system that has already failed to help me. 've spent seven days waiting for my appeal, struggled to reach a real human advisor, and when I finally did, my concerns were not taken seriously. My question is simple: Is there really no way to report or escalate the poor support experience itself? I am not asking for special treatment. I'm asking for basic customer service, proper communication, and a fair investigation into what happened to my account. Simply telling me to contact the same support team again doesn't solve anything.

Then you need to reach back out to support to have them take another look. I'm sorry to hear the first interaction wasn't great, but we have no way to do this for you via the forums, so you'll need to try again with the support team.

    Are you serious?

My appeal has been pending for SEVEN DAYS, and all I keep receiving are generic responses telling me to wait.

I am not applying for a job or submitting a CV. I am asking EA to investigate an account security breach that happened on October 25.

My account was accessed without my permission, and someone used it to play Apex Legends. I have already contacted support and submitted my appeal, but after seven days, I still have no meaningful update or explanation.

Is it really acceptable for a player to wait indefinitely while their account security and potentially their account itself are at risk?

I don't need another copy-paste response telling me to check my case history. I need EA to take responsibility, investigate the incident properly, and provide a clear update.

    Players deserve better than this.
