ENGINE ERROR 0x887A0007-DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET

I am getting this error EVERY time I start thr game and have to try and  force close it thru the task manager. Yet this does not work 85% of the time and i have to a hard restart of my PC. This started when the big update came out and thought it was a glitch of some kind, but it is everyday day now.

Check to see if you have the latest Windows update. Search "Windows Updates" in the desktop search bar to check for pending updates.

Do you have the GeForce Experience so you can download the latest video card driver? They come out quite frequently and can be easily outdated if it's not something you check for month to month.

We're not able to gauge the level of tech expertise off a forum profile name, so basic technical troubleshooting is a great starting point before diving into more advanced steps. Can you let me know of the following:

    1. Are you able to upload a DxDiag to this forum using these steps.
    2. Have you tried rolling back your video card driver and reinstalled the latest one?
    3. Is debug mode turned on in the Nvidia Control Panel?
    4. Are you able to play the game without any other overlays or programs running which could be conflicting with Origin? A clean boot can help identify which program is causing it as you'll launch the game after a PC reboot with all programs temporarily disabled.
    5. Try disabling Origin In-Game from your Origin client's application settings.
    6. Have you tried reinstalling the game?
    7. Are you overclocking your PC?
    8. Have you taken a look at the Community Crashing Troubleshooting guide?

Hope that helps. Keep us updated.

There hasnt been a single "solution" to dxgi related problems only fixes atleast as far as i know

I would recommend DDU uninstall app to remove intel hd graphics driver and nvidia driver

After that use device manager to update intel hd driver and install nvidia 417.35 driver from the website

For more advanced troubleshooting there is an app designed for manipulating Tdrlevels and more but this can crash the computer:
    https://www.wagnardsoft.com/Tdr%20Manipulator/Tdr%20Manipulator%20v1.1.zip

If TdrLevel is set to 0 then there will be no recover is there is timeout between cpu/gpu.. Default should be 3
TdrDelay can be set to 3 more on precaution

Other than that i would suggest trial and error on setting "Maximum prerendered frames" in nvidia control panel this consists of values between 0-4
