Engine Error: Bad signature length - game crashes in lobby upon booting game

Hey if you're on steam I'm not sure if it will work but I'm on ea and was having this exact problem what fixed it for me was repairing the game files hopefully this helps if not I wish you luck.

Thanks! Yeah, my next move was to uninstall on Steam and try installing on Origin. Bizarrely, I got exactly the same error message, so seemingly something PC based. Tried repairing install, etc. on their too but to no avail. Such a weird issue.

Hey @NormalZebra,

Could you please list the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far in case you tried any extra steps apart from your first post and share a DxDiag with us?

  @EA_cuervo I have the same problem right now. i uninstall and install. still doesn't work ☹️
