ERROR 408 Steam-PC Apex Legneds

ERROR 408 
I'm playing on Steam
Every now and then but since the new update it happens all the time that i can only play one game until i get this error code and can't load into matches while my friends see me as 'ready'.

The game starts but only for them and I stay in the lobby. When i restart the game i get stuck in the first loading screen for about 30min until i can connect to the lobby again and then after the first game is over it all starts again like i said in the beginning.
I've tried every single thing i could find on the internet and researched for about 3hrs , but nothing worked for me ☹️ 
My PC is only 3 months old so it can't be an issue with my hardware. I've got ethernet connection too that's very strong.

i hope this 'bug' will be fixed or anybody can help me out because I'm running out of ideas and it's getting frustrating

 

  • @EA_Illium I've managed to fix it!

    The problems i was having began at my router.
    I really can't explain why but my internet provider told me that some type of routers can block you from matchmaking and stuff like that. So i picked up a new router (arris) from them and see there this problem never came back since then 🙂

    Hi @DarkRydaa Can you try going through the following steps and check if you see any improvement?

    • Connection and Advance Connection Guides 
    • Change TCP/IP Settings 
    • Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)  
    • Untick the options in LAN Settings (make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server)
