Error Code 10011 - EasyAnti Cheat

Hello all,

I downloaded the game via Origin for the first time on Thursday. Every time I attempt to open the game I get error code 10011.

- I disabled my windows firewall and my mcafee firewall and antivirus programs.

- I uninstalled my Razer programs (I read somewhere sometimes that helps).

- I added Origin, easyanti cheat, and Apex as approved programs for my firewalls and antivirus.

- I updated my drivers.

- I uninstalled/reinstalled easy anti cheat and repaired apex repeatedly.

- I tried a clean boot.

- I even completely factory reset my computer and tried all of these options over again with no such luck.  

Nothing has worked and I’m getting frustrated. So @eahelp on Twitter advised for me to post here in hopes that I can get some assistance since I’ve done everything and still am getting the same error.

    Do you use MSI Afterburner or Rivatuner Statistics Server? Applications that hook into games are meant to be stopped or detected by EasyAntiCheat. If so, see if you can add them to the exclusions list in RivaTuner, or close the applications before launching Apex Legends. 

    Also providing the following information may help us troubleshoot your issue:

    Operating System

    Graphics Card / CPU / Motherboard

    Specific driver versions, especially for video drivers

    Hello. 

    No, I do not use either one of those programs.

    I have an HP Gaming Laptop running Windows 10. 

    Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3550H with Radeon Vega Mobile GFX

    Motherboard: HP 86D4

    @Doritohs You uninstalled Razer, do you still have Synapse installed or maybe RTX Audio?
    Do you have a firewall on your router that may interfere?

    Also, have you installed or tried to reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable ?

    I completely factory reset my computer so all of my Razer programs are gone. I have Visual C++ installed. I don’t believe I have a firewall on the router, just Windows and McAfee. Not quite sure about that though.

    If anyone else has any suggestions or advice I’d appreciate it. At this point I’m thinking I’m stuck playing Apex on the Switch 😭

    am also having this issue and have tried everything, it also happened on fortnite and someone has said its got to be a programme that's interfering with the game launching but i can't find anything that would cause this plus i have never had this issue before with apex it just suddenly started happening. the only quick fix for me is to restart pc and it will work.

    My antivirus was interfering with some Origin games historically. Sophos Antivirus can be aggressive at times against some anti-cheat software.

    It was still blocking it, even with the antivirus disabled through the software, so I had to contact their support to discover another Exclusions section in the advanced settings.

    Considering your issue goes away after a restart, I'd look at what software you have running on boot-up, and comparing it to what's running when Fortnite/Apex don't work.

    Also, posting your system specifications, such as the following, may help people to diagnose your issue quicker:

    Operating System

    Graphics Card

    CPU

    Motherboard

    Specific driver versions, especially for video drivers

    Antivirus software
