I didnt work
Sorry old post but I just solved it as I just got the game last night and fits time loaded it and figured I'd post for future Googler's. Believe it or not on my first troubleshoot attempt!
it's the Firewall guys/gals, some reason the EA Desktop isn't added to the exception list nor even in the drop down to quick add it. You have to locate and path it manually and add to fire wall exception, NOT the game. The EA Launcher, oh and the EasyCheat.exe needs to be added.
Then open an viola! Game loads... And guess what!? it auto prompts to allow the Squadrons.exe to be added to the firewall allow list, an im sitting in menu as I type this.
I just fixed this problem by updating my NVidia GPU drivers.

That's the fix!!!
Tried everything, but this worked.
I added Easyanticheat and origin to my Inbound and outbound exemptions, and it worked immediately!
Well done!!!
I found out that mine working when i turned of xmp in bios otherwise it thinks ram is damaged
Man ure the best i * love you. I create an account to say thank you so much man.
All descriptions were based on going to the path where the game was installed f.e.
c/program files/steam/common... . So the problem was that I couldnt find the
EasyAntiCheat.sys file. YOU were the only one who showed me the direct
path of the .sys file. May the god save and keep your family and you aware of
every sort of bad things in life. May your family live forever. THANK YOU BROTHER<3 !!!!
- @EA_Barry Nope it did not work at all. I can do what i want, Star Wars Squadrons is not playable any more! It doesn´t matter if you call it EA App or Origin - same BS!
