Error CODE:LEAF EA server side issue
Hello,
I am contacting you again regarding the ongoing connectivity issue I am experiencing with Apex Legends, specifically the Code:Leaf error. I would like to clearly summarize everything that has happened so far, as well as all the troubleshooting steps I have already completed:
- For the last two days, I have consistently received a Code:Leaf error after finishing every match.
- The disconnection occurs only at the end of the game, after the results screen, and I am then returned to the main menu.
- Despite the disconnection, all my XP, progress, and rewards are correctly saved, which indicates that the issue only occurs during the final server communication after a match.
- I play on PC (Steam), in Portugal, using a wired connection.
- My ISP is MEO, and my router is a MediaAccess TG789vac v2.
- This issue has happened once in the past, but it eventually stopped on its own.
Contact with EA Support so far
- The first agent informed me that there was an error registered on my account/server-side.
- The second agent confirmed that the issue was being investigated by the team.
- The third agent sent me standard troubleshooting links. After informing them that I had already completed every troubleshooting step, they told me that there was nothing else they could do.
Because the issue persists and happens exclusively in Apex Legends, I am requesting a deeper investigation from your technical team.
Troubleshooting Steps Already Completed
- I have performed every standard and advanced step available, including:
- Restarted router and PC
- Used a wired Ethernet connection
- Disabled firewall temporarily for testing
- Added Apex Legends to firewall exceptions
- Changed DNS (Google, Cloudflare, OpenDNS)
- Flushed DNS cache
- Reset network settings (ipconfig /release, /renew, /flushdns)
- Checked for Windows updates
- Checked for driver updates
- Verified integrity of game files on Steam
- Tested with “Gamer Mode” ON and OFF
- Checked NAT type
- Restarted router
- Confirmed no bandwidth limits or parental controls
- No VPN or proxy in use
- Changed data centers
- Tested multiple servers with low ping
- Disabled all overlays (Steam, Discord, NVIDIA, etc.)
None of these solutions fixed the issue. Since the problem:
- Occurs only in Apex Legends,
- Happens exactly at the end of every match,
And I received information that an error exists on your side related to my account or connection,…I kindly request that this matter be escalated to the technical/server-side engineering team so it can be investigated more thoroughly. I am available to provide logs, connection traces, or any additional information necessary.
Thank you for your time and attention.
I appreciate your support and hope we can resolve this issue.
