Error, directx 11. I have 12

Hello there,  Apex won’t start for me. I keep getting an error saying that it can’t initialize because I don’t have directx 11. When I have 12. Please help!

Apex won’t start, saying that I need directx 11 to initiate game. But I have Directx 12. First time seeing this error. Been playing for 2 years
