Error processing game files, game closes.

Mid game I keep getting an error box with the following message:

"There was a problem processing your files. A potential solution might be to attempt the following:
1. Select Apex Legends in your Steam Library
2. Once on the page, click into the settings gear icon and select "Properties..."
3. Navigate to the Installed Files page
4. Click "Verify integrity of game files"

Games closes when you click OK, verifying files does not help or solve the issue.
