FPS drop to 10
Hi All,
Having issues for few days now (since Wednesday). FPS is really low, grapic loades really slow, I can't move my mouse without having a slow motion like experience. Sometimes it looks like it starts with FPS around 50 then drops to 10 within seconds.
Attaching screenshot from the training area (FPS=10) - the same happens on usual maps as well - DxDiag, MsInfo.
No issues when playing other games. Drivers up to date.
Thought this might be similar to the below topic and tried most of the suggested steps https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/100-CPU-usage-troubleshooting-steps/m-p/10707752#M133286.
- If you're using an Nvidia graphics card, try updating the drivers using the Express method. Then, launch the game from the GeForce Experience.

- It's possible this is related to Windows Defender. These instructions may help.
Also tried:
- launching with advanced options and inputting "-novid -high +fps_max 0 -nojoy" per YT instructions (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f99f5ys1nBs).
- turning off fullscreen optimization for r5apex.exe
- setting graphic prefereneces on Windows level to High Efficency for Apex
- re-installing the game
- removing temp files
- lowering graphic settings within the game

Try to clean boot your system. It worked for me. Now I'm trying to figure out which application si causing the problem.
