Changing game configs.
The intent of the change was to remove the ability to modify the game to get a competitive advantage. We hear the feedback that some commands are now gone for players that used them to make their game more stable or performant. We’ll follow up more on this next week.

before update i had nice game without lags with this commands -freq 144 +fps_max 80
and after patch i have lags..... pls do something ☹️ i think this command +fps_max 80 doesnt work ! (after last patch)

It works after the last update. But for some reason just caping the fps it is not good enough for my 75hz monitor in Apex.
In all my other games capping the fps at 75 makes the animation perfect(75hz monitor) but in Apex I have to +fps_max 80 and then I have to turn from nvidia control panel Fast Sync On.
The result is pretty good but still the animation is worse than the rest of my games, which I just cap them at 75 (with no vsync at all).
I just played one match after the update and I noticed some hiccups, like tiny freezes. So Im not sure if you mean that when you say lags. The +fps_max 80 works though.
And as I said, for me too, Apex has not as smooth animation as my other games, even if I have a steady 75fps(capped).
yes i mean tiny freezes,just not smooth game. mainly in skulltown and in other areas it's the worst.
maybe problem is on my side, because i have old cpu i5-4460 3,2GHz , 8gb ram and gpu rx570. i dont have stable 144fps and this is problem i think. i have 60-144 fps because my cpu....
before update i fix it with this command +fps_max 80, but after update doesnt work ☹️
by the way guys sorry my english is really bad. I'm trying :D
