Nintendo switch cross progression

I had gotten a PS5 for Christmas and I am having trouble linking my account. My main account is on my Nintendo switch and Im trying to link it to my EA account which I haven’t yet and I’m having trouble finding the option to do it. When I am in my ea account it never shows the option to link a switch account even though it says that switches are supported.
