Friend request not showing

I found a fix for this problem. I should work for EA. 

Tell your friend to create a club, search for his club and join it, friend request from there 😁😁

      I also can't connect for Battlefield 2042.  I looked up a PC person's user name and we both got "No players matched the search criteria.". We both got the same message when I searched them, and they searched me.

      I'm on XBox One, they are on PC.

    This used to work, sadly people on different platforms do not show up as online, nor do they get the club wide requests for party.  I can login to my PC and send the invites and if my PS4/PS5 are online they get the invites, but switch players do not.  (As aside: Thank you EA for failing on the cross platform progression... /sarcasm).
