friends always appearing offline

me and my friend have been trying to play some games together but every time we try to friend each other it says no account found

we tried joining a club together but when one of us sends a friend/ party request it docent show up on the others end

we tried looking up each others usernames instead of console/steam names, same result

if it help they are on PS4 while im on PC

plz someone have the answer we just want to play apex
