I think I've tried everything: repairing, reinstallation, updating drivers, installing in disk C or other disks, running in admin, disabling full-screen optimization, easy anti cheat repair, updating to win11 (btw I hate win11), clean boot, adding something to security defender, disabling vanguard, and so on. No one solves the problem.
I guess it might be some kind of environment setup problem? Should I reinstall some visual C++ *? dk if it would work.
I have another laptop that can run this game but too lagging to play, on this more expensive gaming laptop it wouldn't even launch so I don't think it's a problem about performance.
After I launch the game, easy anti cheat runs, after EAC finishes and disappears, a process named "apex legends" appears in the background processes. The CPU usage of the process would then decay from about 15% to 0% and disappear from the task manager instantly.
Of hundreds of games, only this one wouldn't work. To me, it is some really weird and bizarre thing...

Do I need to try some IP config resets? One of my friends successfully ran Valorant by doing that XD

Tired it again, installed origin and apex on my lagtop, and it runs. So it might not be the problem with new EAC updates.

And I can't play fall guys since two weeks ago, which also run easy anti cheat before the game. IDK if it is the problem with eac

Another quick reminder that this thread is about the game crashing to desktop after launching, not failing to launch cause of EAC.
