download this previous nvidia patch and everything will work.
Alas this did not work for me, think I've tried every suggestion people have come up with, both here and on reddit.
I'm sorry if there are any mentions on the site, because it's a great site and you can only reply to someone from a smart phone.
I can boot it up, but after a bit, Windows reboots.
I start it up, slide down to the shooting range, and around the time I take one of them down, Windows dies.
It's still cute that the game won't boot up in EAC (of course, it sucks for those who can't start game).
It's the virus that breaks Windows and forces it to reboot.
We should take it as important that a problem that no longer even holds the form of a game is happening to more than a few people.
I think it's a bit silly to just say, "We're working hard on it."

Last day of the season and no word on a fix. The only solution I've seen mentioned that apparently worked for others that I haven't seen here is doing an entire reinstall of Windows which seems extremely excessive just to get a video game to work after a patch broke it. I'm actually mad at this point. I didn't get to finish my season pass because I haven't been able to play for 2 weeks.
EDIT: I didn't try to launch it today until I talked to the EA Chat, and I was told to change the reticle color? I didn't notice any sort of download/update today, but the game is running fine now?- 3 years ago

I used my GeForce Experience to amend the game settings to launch it in windowed mode and it did actually load (with another window infront of it) instead of closing like 2seconds after launch like it has been previously. As soon as I swapped to the game as the main window, it closed again. Sigh

Here is what I have found out about this issue.
I don't know if this will help anyone, but...
I put a load on the FF15 benchmark to find out if it really was the game and it did the same crash way on the second loop.
I reinstalled the nVidia drivers using DDU as I suspect it's graphics related (my GPU is RTX3080ti by the way).
I ran the benchmark in the same way and this time it completed without any problems.
Since FF15 Benchmark completed with success , I launched Apex and I noticed that the resolution of the menu's UI was very poor.
The PC then crashed.
Is there some rogue shader in Apex?
Maybe my PC is broken. So I am using OCCT to load the entire system.- 3 years ago

Maybe my PC is broken. So I am using OCCT to load the entire system.I found that the BSOD was occurring behind the scenes, so I followed the error and firmly reattached the PC component, and lo and behold, it was back to normal. Perhaps APEX is different from other games in that the hardware is more strict in its judgment.
if your PC has the best and coolest configuration (e.g., using Cable Mod, vertical GPU, etc.), we strongly recommend that you take it apart and reassemble it. In many cases I am sure you will be able to try it faster than reinstalling Windows.
Sorry for the trouble and apologize.
