Game not launching (Easy Anti-Cheat Access Denied due to RGBFusion.exe)

Hi there, I've just purchased a new gaming rig which has an B450 Auros Pro Wifi Motherboard.

I've installed RGBFusion to control the RGB of the case, motherboard lightning, LED strips etc. and when I tried to launch Apex Legends, I was denied to having access to enter the game due to RGBFusion.exe. It is a legitimate program by GIGABYTE and it seems to block it from entering the game.

I've contacted customer support and they said to let the game developers know instead.

  • Hey guys so I found a solution to this. When you launch your game and the Easy Anti Cheat loads
and just throws you back into the Original main menu, please try this easy solution.

-If you have EVGA LED Sync installed, uninstall it.
(it just syncs your RGB Graphics Card, CLC Cooler or Chassis together)

-If you have Logitech Gaming Software installed, uninstall it.
(lets you customize Logitech G gaming mice, keyboards, headsets)

I spent over an hour looking for solutions and trying all of them out but no one seemed to mention

to get rid of these 2 programs. Let me know if it worked for you!

Makes me wonder if ASUS GPU Tweak is also problematic.

It's my overclock tool, as in, it's actively setting both OC and fan parameters that I need - so uninstalling would be irritating (and should be unnecessary).

Not to mention, looks like I have two other games that use Easy Anticheat which are not bothered in the slightest by ASUS GPU Tweak, so I'm leaning towards 'that won't help'.

  • Anyone else having an issue with RGB ram software cause an error when launching the game? I recently upgraded to G.Skill Trident Z RGB ram and G.skill's software to control the LED lighting of the ram gives me an error code when launching apex. says "Game security violation (lightingservice.exe)" the game runs just fine once I end the executable in task manager but that obviously disables the control for my ram lighting. I presume I'm not the only one with this issue and I'm kind of puzzled as to how LED software is considered a game security violation. I'd like to draw attention to this issue because I feel it would be a very simple fix.

  • Been about a month since I've brought up Easy Anti Cheat not working, citing that it detects my mouse and RGB software as cheating. Extremely disappointed that this large and glaring issue with the way the anti-cheat is coded hasn't been fixed yet. Am I, someone who hasn't cheated in any way, going to ever stop being accused of cheating and be allowed to play the game?

I have the same issue. I just upgraded to the G-Skill Trident RGB and the programs to customize the lightning is being detected as cheating software.

  • The game thinks that my motherboard utility for the onboard LEDs is a cheat software. Its the asrock rgb led app, i think its because the name of the app is asrrgbled.
